About Takashi Yamamoto – Salem Acupuncturist
Yamamoto Oriental Medicine Clinic was founded in 2005 to provide oriental medicine treatments to the residents of Salem, Oregon, and surrounding areas. All our practitioners are fully licensed through NCCAOM, the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed by Oregon State Medical Board. Please read about our practitioners below. We do the team effort to graduate all the patients who come to see us from any health/mental issues which they are struggling with as soon as we can. If your goal is resolving your issues, then we ask your commitment to participate during the entire course of treatment. If your goal is health maintenance, then we will see you regular basis in a set time as it is needed.
Takashi Yamamoto, L.Ac. PC
Licensed Acupuncturist (Oregon), Masters OM, B.A., Diplomate in Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture & Chinese Herbology (NCCAOM), AOBTA Certified Tuina Practitioner.
Takashi studied Tuina & Oriental Medicine in Tokyo, Japan, under Professor Cho. After further training in China and an internship, he worked at Seiyoukan clinic in Kanagawa, Japan. For the sake of further knowledge and skills, he moved to Austin, Texas to attend the Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin, where he received a Masters in Oriental Medicine and an additional Diploma in Asian Bodywork (Tuina). He also is a black belt in Aikido, the Japanese martial art.
